Far from being just another event on the corporate calendar, the VASS Leaders Forum was created as a space reserved for senior executives — a place to think beyond short-term goals, spark high-impact conversations, and build a network of connections that extends far beyond the event itself.
In an economic environment defined by rapid innovation, geopolitical complexity, and the emergence of technologies that are reshaping business models, having spaces where leaders can openly discuss real challenges becomes a true differentiator.
Because transformation is not just about adopting new technological capabilities — it’s about rethinking how we understand business itself and learning how to adapt to an increasingly complex and fast-changing landscape.
A Gathering of Leading Voices to Decode the Future
This second edition of the VASS Leaders Forum featured insights from Javier Díaz-Giménez, Professor of Economics at IESE Business School, and Alberto Artero, Senior Advisor and former Managing Director of El Confidencial, who offered valuable perspectives on the economic, technological, and social transformations that are redefining how we do business.
As hosts, José Pérez Melber, CEO of VASS, and Miguel Ángel Ariza, Managing Director of VASS Iberia & South Latam, welcomed a select group of senior executives from major companies across the Spanish business landscape, positioning the forum as a high-level space for strategic conversation.
Throughout the session, attendees explored the trends that will shape the coming years and the forces that will redefine how organizations create value, including:
- Sociopolitical and demographic shifts, which will heavily influence strategic decision-making.
- Sustainability and the circular economy, no longer as an option, but as a competitive imperative.
- Artificial intelligence and new organizational models, which are redefining talent, productivity, and how companies operate.
- The need to measure real impact, linking every transformation effort to tangible and sustainable outcomes over time.
As Miguel Ángel Ariza highlighted, VASS’ vision is focused on ensuring that every transformation generates real, measurable impact aligned with a clear purpose. It’s not just about implementing technology — it’s about transforming how organizations understand their role in the market and in society.
Listening to expert voices and contrasting perspectives with leaders from multiple sectors enriched the conversation and distilled a key idea: the leadership of the future will be defined by the ability to anticipate trends, build connections, and turn strategy into sustainable impact.
The evening concluded with a private cocktail and dinner, designed to foster more personal conversations and build trusted relationships among attendees in a carefully curated and exclusive setting.
