As an Appian partner for over 15 years, our participation in Appian World 2024 was a great experience for our team. For two days, from April 16-17, we had the opportunity to explore advances in artificial intelligence, process automation, and digital transformation in the beautiful setting of the Potomac River and very close to Washington D.C., specifically in the commercial site that George Washington founded in the early 19th century called National Harbor and that today hosts many congresses and conferences.
Among the VASS attendees who enjoyed the event were Álvaro Sánchez Pozuelo, CEO of AMERICAS & EMEAP, Alberto Ibáñez, Managing Director of Mexico & Central America, Francisco González, Global Practice Leader of Integration & Processes and Sergio Rojas, Account Director of South LATAM.
This event not only provided us with a great opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in the Appian ecosystem and its main success stories but also allowed us to talk again and establish valuable connections with colleagues and industry leaders from around the world.
Inspiration and technological leadership
One of the highlights of the event was Appian's presentation of the latest version of its platform, highlighting Process HQ, a combination of Process Mining and artificial intelligence fully integrated with Appian's data engine and virtualizer called Data Fabric.
This new release provides complete visibility into a company's operations, enabling decision making based on real data and optimizing the organization's processes. Process HQ integrates Appian's Data Fabric to reduce manual data preparation and is unified with process automation, facilitating a seamless transition from insight to action.
It is worth mentioning the specific tracks regarding the financial sector and the public sector, where it was highlighted how Appian brings value to the financial sector through advanced solutions in artificial intelligence, data, and security.
Towerbank case study
One of the highlights of the agenda was when Towerbank presented its success story 'Banking reimagined: Towerbank at the Edge of Innovation'. Led by Gabriel Campa (Head of Digital Assets at Towerbank) and Guy Mettrick (VP of Financial Services at Appian), attendees learned first-hand how innovation in the financial area continues and how Towerbank is leading the way to a new era for the banking sector, creating one of the first banking platforms for universal access to cryptocurrencies, providing a simple tool for trading these digital currencies, enabling savings and their custody in a secure and regulated environment.
VASS has collaborated with Towerbank in the implementation of this and other digital solutions, so the success of this presentation and the enormous prospects of Ikigii, Towerbank's new platform, on the transformative role of the banking sector left us with a deep sense of motivation and determination to drive such enriching new projects.
